Glenart Castle was built around 1750 and set in the heart of
the Avoca Valley on 63 private acres of woodland. The house
was originally built for the Earls of Carysfort, but when the
last Earl died, so did the title, and the house ended up being
sold off and on until it came into the hands of the current
owners, the Naik's. All rooms are en-suite and have lovely views
of the surrounding grounds. Guest may dine in the restaurant
and enjoy the guest lounge. Private on-site parking, guest garden
and woodland walks available. This is an ideal location for
sightseeing in the Wicklow Mountains while being close to Arklow
town. Dublin City is about an hour-long drive up the main road.
The castle is also a family home and closed in the winter months.

We recently stayed at Glenart Castle on our honeymoon for
two nights. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms wonderfully
furnished. The hotel staff were kind and treated us well. The
food was tasty and the service unbeatable. It was a dream come
true!
