Ireland - Medieval and Traditional - and there are several
locations where each are hosted. Below is a list of
the most popular banquets available. Each banquet includes
an arrival reception, 3 or 4-course meal, entertainment,
music and some group participation.

This is Ireland's most popular Mediaeval
styled banquet. It's staged in the 15th century Bunratty
Castle. Guests are met at the castle drawbridge by a
kilted piper and invited by the Castle Butler into the
Great Hall, beautifully decorated in period furnishings.
Guests are offered a goblet of Mead, a traditional honey
wine, and will be regaled with the history of Bunratty
and Mediaeval madrigal. Following the coronation of
the Earl and Lady, guests are led to the Banqueting
Hall. The 4 course meal which includes red and white
wine is complemented by an entertainment program of
mediaeval and traditional Irish songs, classical and
traditional music.
Menu - Spiced Parsnip Soup, Traditional
Spare Ribs In a Honey & Whiskey Sauce, Breast of Chicken
with Apple & Mead sauce, served with potatoes and seasonal
vegetables, Fruit of the Forest Mousse, Coffee or tea.

Dunguaire Castle is the youngest of
the Mediaeval banquet locations, being constructed in
the 16th century, though has the most dramatic of locations
with its situation on a rocky outcrop overlooking Galway
Bay. Guests are welcomed with a goblet of Mead, a traditional
honey wine, in an inner chamber by the butler and ladies
of the castle. After a short history of the castle and
musical introduction guests climb he stairs to the Banquet
Hall. A 4 course traditional Irish meal is followed
by a 40 minute entertainment program of music, song
and dance including excerpts from famous literary writers
associated with the Galway region, such as Yeats, Synge,
Gogarty and Shaw.

with Soda Bread, Traditional Leek and Potato Soup, Supreme
of Chicken with a White Wine & Mushroom Cream Sauce,

This Mediaeval style banquet is staged
at the 15th century Knappogue Castle in Quin Village.
Guests are greeted with a goblet of Mead, a traditional
honey wine, in the Dalcassian Room where the Earl and
Lady are crowned for the evening. There is musical introduction
and brief history of the castle before guests are led
into the Banquet Hall for a 4 course traditional meal.
The evening includes a lively programme of entertainment
taking you on a musical journey from mediaeval times
to the present day.

This is Clare's most popular traditional
Irish Night. It's staged in the Folk Park at the Barn.
Guests are welcomed by the Fear a Ti and served drinks
by the entertainers. A 4 course meal is served and is
followed by a 45 minute show celebrating the best traditions
of Ireland today. You are invited to enjoy the company
of the finest singers, dancers and musicians of the
local villages. Experience the homeliness, friendship
